Suffrage Stories: Tales from Knebworth, Stevenage, Hitchin and Letchworth (Stevenage Museum, 2019) has now been published, bringing together a lot of very interesting research done last year to explore and celebrate the women of North Hertfordshire and around who campaigned for the vote. I contributed a chapter - 'The Suffragist Pilgrimage 1913' - based on the research I did for the Pins & Feathers' play, The March.
The book was produced as part of the Stevenage and North Herts Suffrage Stories: 100 years of votes for women project, run by Stevenage Museum working with North Herts Museum, Knebworth House, the Garden City Collection, and YC Hertfordshire.
Suffrage Stories: Tales from Knebworth, Stevenage, Hitchin and Letchworth will be on sale locally (paperback, price £10.00) in Hertfordshire museums, or contact Stevenage Museum or North Hertfordshire Museum.

Troytown: walking the Saffron Walden maze
A piece I wrote as an exploration of place, history, folklore and love.
